Delsa D. Dixon

Ms. Delsa D. Dixon was born and raised in Panama City, Panama with conservative family and Christ-influenced values, Caribbean English/Spanish language accents, and childhood exposure to cultural diversity. Her teenage U.S.A. immigrant journey acquainted her with much of “Life’s Lemony” moments - her interpretation! Yet, those “Lemony Life’s Moments” taught her to “DANCE to her OWN rhythm,” and RESIST peer-pressure while enjoying the Peace-Filled sense of Harmony with her Heavenly Father’s guidance! This Peace has caused her to welcome and embrace each individual without judgement but with a sense of excited curiosity!

Ms. Dixon navigated through Jr. High and High School bullying and alienation. Her resilience resulted in her teachers' awareness and support, as well as, the admiration and respect of her peers. It also earned her the votes needed to gain the position of Student Council Vice-President and Home Coming Queen of Oceanside High School.

Ms. Dixon earned an A. A. in Liberal Studies from Mira Costa College in Oceanside and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. She has 30+ years of professional corporate experience which includes peer counseling, customer service, sales, program marketing and investigations. Ms. Dixon prides herself on her legacy of documented interstate civic contributions, published writings and international public speaking engagements.

She credits her Faith, developed during her youthful days, as the key to facing, enduring and overcoming lack, racial and ethnic prejudice, employment bias, oppression, surviving a hostile work environment, sexual harassment, and other social inequities.
