LEMONADE (DELSA)

(D. eveloping E. ffective L. ife S. olutions A. ctively) is a small business company that reflects the

analogy of a lemon’s enhancing, healing and transformative effects on individual human beings’

Lives! This company is led by a Faith-Inspired, compassionate, Panamanian-Immigrant, Female,

Naturalized U.S.A. Citizen, San Diego State University graduate and Corporate Professional, with a

legacy of impactful, recognized and documented interstate Civic contributions.  Due to her natural

genesis, Ms. Dixon has been inadvertently acquainted with much of  “Life’s Lemony” struggles such as lack, bullying, racial and ethnic prejudice, employment bias, oppression and hostile work environment, at-large sexual harassment, and social inequities. In addition, her unexpected acquired multiple brain injuries allowed her to develop a deeper compassion and quest for knowledge and an understanding of the journey of Military Veterans with PTSD (Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder) and ABI (Acquired Brain Injury).

Because she has been BLESSED to navigate, and triumphantly overcome, most of her aforementioned life’s barriers, she lives by her choice of “No Sad Story to Tell,” (the name of her original written monologue). Ms. Dixon dedicates her life to enhancing the lives of others by sharing encouragement, inspiration and prayer. Similarly, her wellness products and other services attempt to do the same. Ms. Dixon states that her key to being a "tried and triumphant overcomer" is her persistent FAITH and a "Lemons to LEMONADE" perspective.

Hence, the moniker, “LEMONADE DELSA!!!” â€‹

My “Dear” Young Military Veteran
PROJECT HISTORY

As a Faith-Guided woman, I speak, act, write and take action as I am led by the compass within. Unbeknown to the masses, I have been experiencing recurrent brain injuries that affect me cognitively, debilitatingly enough to impact my information processing, as well as my physical and mental stamina. The good news IS that I appear “physically well and intellectually sound.”  The bad news IS that I appear “physically well and intellectually sound!” Yet, I press on; I keep my Faith, protect my Peace, live in Hope and constant Effort.  It is incredibly difficult, but Hope leaves the door open for sudden inspiration!  And in the year 2017, this “Gift” arrived in my heart and soul: My Dear “Young” Military Veteran! It took me

three painful hours to write, in one sitting, compared to my formerly 20-minute customary first-non-edited-draft, writing flow!!! Yet, I was so moved by such truthful words that this inspiration went from Spirit-Life to Paper-Life to Lifetime

Purpose Reality!!!

Of course, at that time, editing, until the final draft, took several more hours; then, I posted it on a social media  platform, on Military Veterans' Day. However, I was then led to remove it because a little voice, within told me that this specific writing was meant to be used for more than a momentary inspiration. The Voice within said that this specific writing was a GIFT to be utilized as a tool of support for the social awareness and financial contributions to not-for-profit organizations that effectively provide resources and services to our MILITARY VETERANS.

So, while I continued pursuing testing, answers and treatments for my recurring, unpredictable, multiple brain, injuries, this, now manifested vision was taking form.  However, because of my shared challenge, my attempted efforts could not get me across the finish line until a God-ordained ANGEL, by the name of Traci Wooden, unknowingly and by Divine intercession, re-appeared in my path!!! We had a minor but seemingly impactful, brief interaction in the early years of 2006-ish but did not build a sustainable connection.; however, in October 2023, (17 years later), we reconnected for this purpose, and with your help, we will fulfill it: My Dear “Young” Military Veteran (Life-long Project).

Interestingly enough, most of my life, I have been surrounded by the military vibe: My Panamanian immigrant Father who served in the USMC (with our family unit), brothers who served in the US ARMY and USAF, as well as many other extended family members and friends who are still currently serving! Nevertheless, I AM 100% CERTAIN that my passion for MILITARY VETERANS was sealed when I realized, that although our BRAIN Injuries were Acquired in different circumstances, the adverse impact on our life’s journey is sometimes relatable.  AND, …; if you didn’t know, (SMILE), now you know the story (SMILE)!!!

I thank you for choosing to stop by to share a moment with us! We are "Hope-Filled" with anticipation that you will join us in supporting MILITARY VETERANS via gifting/sharing our MILITARY VETERANS' Appreciation and promotional awareness items and services that may enhance health/wellness, that may bring resolution to a personal challenge and/or that may inspire transform his/her mind!!!  Please know that a percentage of all proceeds will be donated to The Young Marines, Veteran's Preference, Financial Coach 4 U, Cristina's Closet and other organizations.
